Junior Coaching
Akarana Golf Club
Open to boys and girls aged 12-19 years. This provides an official NZ Golf Handicap, access to the course after school and on Sunday afternoons, and one hours coaching by an NZ PGA Professional Marcus Wheelhouse, each Sunday morning during school terms. Email marcus@marcuswheelhouse.com Coaching is between 10.00 - 12.00 noon and is followed by optional play on the course around midday - 9 or 18 holes depending on experience.
Howick Golf Club
Young golfers with little or no knowledge of golf can attend coaching clinics at Howick Golf Club so they can attain a level where they can play 9 Holes. Once young golfers reach a level of basic golf skills the Coach will recommend they join the Howick Golf Club Juniors. This gives young golfers important time on the golf course every Sunday morning where they can play 9 holes with other youngsters in the Junior Programme.

Pricing $230.00 per 9 week term or casual pay as you go $35.00 per session.

Onewhero Golf Club
Junior Coaching Program runs each Monday, from 4pm to 6pm, during terms 4 and 1 (Oct to April).

"Pakuranga Golf Clubs Junior Golf Coaching Programs are the first of its kind in New Zealand. The programs are operated by Kerryn Jamieson Golf who oversees their coaching programs that are run throughout the week. Coaching starts from the age of 5 and moves up to advanced juniors. Kerryn Jamieson Golf believes that for juniors to get the most out of the learning experience the coaching must be positive, fun, full of interaction and be personalised. This means we keep our group sizes small, and have players of the same age and skill level, learn together. We offer monthly junior tournaments that incorporate scoring tests and improvement pathways for everyone involved in the program.

Junior Golf Academy - Royal Auckland Golf Club runs free coaching sessions with our Head Professional, Mike Moynihan. These sessions are available to all Junior members during term time. Coaching is beneficial to Juniors of all levels, from beginner through to low handicappers. The academy sessions are Wedesndays 4.00pm to 5.00pm and Sundays 9.00am to 10.00am and 2.00pm to 3.00pm.
